Legacy.

On January 23, 2025 the Right To Breathe added its voice to the chorus of souls celebrating the life of a valued member of our heart family. Like so many of you, Helena Stephens' compassion, advocacy, and friendship made an impact on each of us individually. She also exemplified the power of Black joy and a fierce love for justice which has benefited people in our communities who were never blessed to know her personally.

Helena’s political savvy, limitless grace and brilliance will continue to ripple for generations to come through her leadership as a board member, Racial Equity Council member, City of Bellevue Equity & Regional Policy Advisor, and countless other roles.

With thankful hearts and an unwavering commitment to continue to advance her work, RTB celebrates Helena's legacy.
